We work along side local families with children under 5, expecting a baby and childminders providing information, advice and a wide range of services.Take your time to look round the site and find out about the activities, courses, services and information we offer. Some areas of our site link to great family entertainment - you and your children can play some of the great games. If you are new to using computers this will help you get used to using the mouse and keyboard, whilst having fun!
These questions and answers will help explain who we are and what we do. You can also find more information in the 'Quick Links' at the top of the page If you have any suggestions for information that could be added here, we would like to hear from you.How do I REGISTER?
IT IS IMPORTANT TO GET REGISTER. Click here to get the register form and bring it back to the centre or telephone the Children's Centre on 865825 and we will send you a registration form in the post, or pop in and see us in Ilfracombe or Combe Martin.
Do I have to pay?
NO, all children's centre services are funded by the Government.
How are we different?
Because we want parents and local communities to get directly involved in running their local centres. It’s your chance to tell the government what you need to make life better for you and your children
Is it just for Parents and Carers?
No. Childminders, Playgroups, Resident Associations and others are all welcome to have their say. We want everybody who has an interest in families with young children to become involved
What happens once I've registered?
A Home Visitor will contact you to arrange a date to come and let you know about the range of services that are available to you.
What's in it for me?
- A chance to meet people and make new friends
- A chance to shape your children’s future
- Access to a wide range of local resources through one point of contact
Who can access Children's Centre Services?
Any family with a child under 5 living in the Ilfracombe Learning Community
